This time you will meet on the pages of the magazine the rising zimna fala stars Hyosciamus Niger; mysterious post-punk project (((S))) which has earned so many sympathies by the amateurs of this music all over the world. We will move to the dark punk Spain where you’ll have a closer acquaintance with Quidam and Txarly Usher. And then you’ll face something very special: the story of the label Infrastition, which was the first to declare that coldwave is still alive in the XXI century; the information we lacked so much about probably the most eccentric cold wave / new wave band Ubik, – and this is not all. Specially for Grave Jibes Fanzine #8, the Greek post-punk / new wave band #1 Metro Decay agreed to do the thing they refused so many times before – to tell everything we asked them about the band!

Восьмого августа 2010 года две крайне разные по подходу к музыке, но близкие по духу группы Grotesque Sexuality и Le Phonographe, выйдут на сцену маленького арт-клуба «Тишина», чтобы отыграть достаточно необычный для них концерт.

Необычен он будет тем, что «полуквартирная» обстановка клуба позволит разрушить «четвертую стену», т.е. барьер между исполнителем и публикой. А также тем, что в «Тишине» можно будет исполнить свои песни несколько иным образом, нежели в больших клубах.

На концерт можно будет попасть БЕСПЛАТНО, написав ПИСЬМО со своим именем/ником на party@gravejibes.com.

Количество бесплатных мест ограничено, и стоимость входа для тех, кто не запишется в список, составит 100 рублей.

Geisterfahrer was one of the first bands in Germany which began to explore the obscure post-punk space. After more “classical” “Schatten voraus” (1980) and wild dadaistic “Fest Der Vielen Sinne” (1981), which both were recently re-released on CD by Plastic Frog Records, the band released their not only the best but also the most underestimated album, Topal. And this album has appeared as an absolutely fresh departure in the post-punk / goth universe. Dark, catchy and weird tunes intertwine into the clue which leads listener to the strange world where dark primitivism can turn into experimental frenzy, and where professionalism goes hand in hand with primeval energy.
